I've seen other companies use the term for special pricing when moving from a competitive product, but I've never seen PGMusic use crossgrade in terms of a competitive product. And as best as I can recall, they never provided a cross-grade from Jammer (which I still have and occasionally play with, but it's a dead product now, like Cakewalk).

I have seen PGMusic use it in the context of switching from the Mac version to the PC version (and vice versa). And in reading the purchasing options for BIAB 2018, it "seems" to apply to moving from, say, the ProPAK to the UltraPAK.

Again, PGMusic would need to answer this definitively.
