Following on from VideoTrack...

The Melody and Soloist tracks are primarily designed for user midi input.

While it's possible to edit the other tracks, as Trevor says, BIAB reserves these other tracks for generating backings. If you want to over-ride BIAB's control, it's necessary to make your edits and then freeze the track. This will keep your changes intact.

If Realtracks are on the tracks that you are editing, whatever you edit will have no impact on the sound of the Realtrack. The notes that are present on tracks that contain Realtracks are to give users an indication of what the Realtrack artist played (these notes do not control what is played).
