I run BinaB from a 160Gbit hard drive and use my Vista desktop to compose and an XP laptop to drive my PA system when I am playing
I have just downloaded the Vista Patch and now the BinaB programme doesnt work on either machine
I can open the programme but when I do the section which shows the bars is now completely black as are a couple of other sections in the programme.
It does however play my songs but shows the chord being played as white on the black background
I cant enter any new songs though
Anyone any ideas on what has gone wrong or if its possible to "back out" the patch

Try a 'restore to factory settings'

Can you could restore your Computer O/S to an earlier date if you wish to get rid of the update???

Hi Guys
Tried the restore to factory settings and its still the same
Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the BinaB software on both the Vista machine and the XP machine but its still the same which leads me to think its a change in the software on the USB Hard drive thats gone wrong
Funnily enough the Realband screeen is fine
LynB, its not the computer OS thats the problem but the software change I have made to the USB Hard drive so I dont think that will work

Phew!!!!!!!
Fixed it
Downloaded the patch again and the rebooted each computer in turn then its OK
Have a performance tomorrow so my hair was turning even greyer

Hey Phil,
Great that you got things going. Just a suggestion, but I am loving Win 7. SO much better than Vista. Give it a shot, I'm sure you will like it too.
