Regarding the Gb/G...

I'm not sure if I'm reading your post correctly, but if you have two or more Gb notes in the same bar, the flat sign will only be shown for the first one. This is standard music practice where accidentals last for the duration of a bar. Thus, having Gb followed by G would mean that the second note should be played as Gb unless it has a natural sign in front of it.

Regarding enharmonic notation...

It is a weakness of BIAB's notation that in unusual keys. That might well be the case here.

Did you try right-click, edit note, force accidental to sharp?
