Live setup i use for backing tracks is an ipad with the SoundCue App to stage my wav files
i typically export from biab/rb/logic.
All my tracks are mono at this point.

SoundCue lets me order them so I can get some basic set lists done at home.

I take the audio out from the ipad to a Whirlwind PCDi box ($130) which then goes xlr to the board. the whirlwind box keeps all everything in balance.

I'm a bit anxious about hauling even my cheapest laptop to a gig.
Plus the interface is quick. hit a button off we go.
Less dead time on stage messing with a computer.
