Hi All,

Here's something a bit loose and fun called Time Machine.

I wanna see through your abandoned eyes
So close the door on your time machine
I wanna float through our universe
So throw the switch on your time machine

I wanna swim in the Atlantic waves
And feel the sand run between our hands
I wanna write all those summer songs
So shine the sun on your time machine

I wanna breathe all your big words of love
So turn the dial on your time machine
I wanna keep all the coffee warm
So set the clock on your time machine

I wanna find an old black telephone
And hear your voice come across the line
I wanna talk till the sun comes up
So don’t hang up on your time machine

I wanna see my story in your eyes
So take me back on your time machine
I wanna find all the yesteryears
So break the glass on your time machine

Man, you are on a roll lately!

Really good, Bob, has your signature sound with those great, distinctive vocals.

"Band"sounds good, love that guitar part you dropped in between the verses, perfect choice!

Bob,

This sounds like a perfect fit for your folk-rock songbook. The impressionistic lyrics, your confident and laid-back vocals, and thoughtful arrangement all join hands and create an enjoyable journey in sound.

All the best,
Noel

Bob, Another good one! I really like your harmony vocal on this one. Drums are nice and upfront. Again you have created a poetic write with lots of room open to the listener for interpretation. Your unique sound never gets old to these ears, Tom

Very cool, Bob.

You are really making EXCELLENT use of the BAND these days!

Love how you used the electric rhythm guitar as a lead... Super!

Excellent mix. Everything sits just right.

Cool song.

The mix seemed exceptionally hot in the low and mid end. It was roaring a bit in the speakers here. I normally can listen to everyone's music without having to grab the knobs.... this needed to be lowered a bit .

Anyway... good writing.

Wow - you nailed this! I'm getting some really nice nostalgic type vibes on this one. The harmonies you did on this are fantastic, too! The arrangement is awesome, and your vocals really cut through and are attention grabbing.

Great work, and thanks so much for sharing smile

Cheers,
Deryk

Floyd,

Thanks - much appreciated.

I generated multiple versions of that rhythm guitar and then picked the best pieces for the solo part. So great to be able to do that. smile

Bob,

This song IS the time machine. I love how all of your songs take me back to the village and NYC. I always feel like I AM back in the day, and having such a blast.

One of the first ones that hit me this way was "Woodstock" which is one of my all time favorites.

When I close my eyes and listen to one of your tunes I can see myself going in a time machine back to Greenwich Village in 1968 and Lou Reed and Nico are sitting at some cafe outside in sunglasses.

Great artistry.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
