This could easily be a soundtrack, in all the best ways.
Haven't heard your original, but this is a wonderful track Dave.
It may be Soundcloud, but the levels are a little intense, had to turn it down to listen comfortably.

Nice to meet you! Thank you for your kind comments. Funny, I felt the same way about the volume so I widened the scope and lowered the volume to make it sound softer. I now can listen to it with my eyes closed and feel it without the intensity.
Regarding the original; there was no violin or viola only piano and stings. But, after the mix, I found that it sounds good each track separately or all together. I just posted the new mix to Soundcloud about 10 minutes ago...
Thanks again for the soundtrack reference. I'm trying to catch up to "Mr. Snyder!!!" =D

Dave this is outstanding. The violin is top shelf all the way. Your arrangement is fantastic.
This is definitely either a movie or documentary soundtrack.
You should be very proud of this one.
