i dunno mate bout the hack comment.
that comment concerns me.
too definitive imho.

my dad was a jazz purist.
my familys got old one sided jazz records from decades back.
scared to play em actually cos many are pristine.
and i know he would have had fun with it all
includeing the soloists.
why not just not use the soloist if your dead set against it.
remember biab is meant for all sorts of users.
ie to reach a wide user base.
