When I go back into the BIAB using the saved SGU file the audio is showing, highlighted blue, the audio lines are showing it as output but nothing on that line is playing.

Open the song in Real Band.... all the tracks will populate and then you simply record the SAX into a new audio track. You're able to add as many tracks as you need in Real Band whereas in Band in a Box you only have one audio track to work with.

OR..... select the option to export your individual tracks as wave files and use your favorite DAW to finish the project.
