Of course, we can help you. That's what forums are for smile I love you telling us how to spell your name, I should do that sometimes, hahaha. I'm sick of people misspelling my name. Anyway, back to your question. I'd recommend you this one https://convertr.org/avi-to-mp4. I'd say it's good for these kinds of converting. It's easy to use and fast. I don't know anything past turning on the computer that's why I'm saying it's easy, so for me it's great. I don't have to ask my son every time to help me.

Hell Mark, some of us are just that slow.

Back in the day when I went crazy on Cocaine, I was replying to posts that had not even been written yet!

“Well…” Saint Peter, hesitated, “God’s got this girlfriend who thinks she can sing…”

I knew a woman who would post while on Ambien, forget everything, then find the posts she didn't remember making in the morning and reply to them.

I've used ffmpeg on Linux for years to convert nearly anything AV to nearly anything else AV.
I hadn't even thought to look for it on Windows, but a few days ago, whilst searching for something, I found an ffmpeg.dll in the BB file tree.

Linux, Windows, Mac.
Command-line, which may worry some.

I am a user of Presonus Studio One which will do this easily but is not free.

I then decided to see if Audacity will do this and yes it will and is free.

Here is how to set it up:

Good choices with both VLC and Audacity.

For Audio applications, Audacity takes a lot of beating based on its extensive feature set.

I use media human converter for taking videos off you tube and converting them to MP3. There's a free and paid version.
