Vihnson,

I have just checked and it is possible to use the Soloist track for partial regeneration. This means if you have a track that you'd like to refine by regenerating sections of it, it's just a matter of putting it in the Soloist position.

It would then be possible to freeze it and create a Performance Track. This performance track could then be used on any of the BIAB tracks.

Here's how to do it (it seems way more complicated than it actually is)...

1. If your computer is not in standard-view mode, press CTRL+T to change to this mode (this is then the same as the images below).

2. Follow #1, #2, #3 to open the Soloist dialogue window.

3. Select a soloist RT (#4).

4. Click on "Custom" (#5)

5. Type in the bar number at which you want the regeneration to start (#6).

6. Type in how many bars you'd like to regenerate (#7).

7. Select "Overwrite" (#8).

8. Check if you want the generation to go one beat beyond the final bar "solo for an extra beat" (#9).

Regards,
Noel
