Hi, I know that when I open a MIDI file even if it's MIDI1 where the tracks are all separated, it gets imported into the Meldoy part of Band-in-a-Box.
But, I've created some of my own MIDI files over the years of song I played in bands when I was a kid, such as 2120 South Michigan Avenue by the Rolling Stones. Anyway, I was hoping to see if ReakTracks and RealDrums enhance these files. For the most part, I put these files together on SONAR using a Roland workstation, but I'm a guitarist and not so great on the keyboard, so what I couldn't input a measure at a time from the Roland, I entered and edited a note at a time in SONAR. Then I entered effects like pitch bend, volume fades, etc. by drawing them in, and finally I tweaked the parameters of each note indivudually (duration, velocity, etc.).
As you can imagine, this was a painstaking labor of love

, and now I'd like to take the files to the next level.
So I was wondering if there's a way around having the MIDI tracks in each file essentially boiled into one track and imported into the Melody part. Can each track in my MIDI file be imported to a separate part

? Most of my MIDI files have a bass, guitar, organ, drums, and harmonica. A few include brass and strings.
Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if there is a work-around someone with more experience than I knows of.
Thanks 1000000!
