What I do when I transfer to a new computer (I've done it a few times since I've been using BIAB), is as follows.
1. I copy my entire \bb and \Realband directories across to the new computer.
- (This allows me to keep everything that I've collected over the years.)
2. Next I run the install program by right-clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator". I use the latest version of BIAB, choose the minimum install and point the installation to my new \bb and \Realband.
- (This installs Windows things like fonts and sets up the registry as needed for BIAB/RB.)
3. I start-up my new installation of BIAB and then point it to where Realdrums and Realtracks are located.
- (Realtracks and Realdrums paths are set in "Options | Preferences | Realtracks" and "Options | Preferences | Realdrums".)
4. Next, I download the latest build from the link below and manually update the program.
http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm5. Lastly, seeing the program is installed on a new computer, it will need to be activated within 30 days of first being run.
The above has always worked for me.
