I have a number of user-styles created with midi instruments, some with Real drums, that I am converting to use RealTracks. I see that BIAB 2018 now has a separate folder for styles, rather than dumping them all in the root directory.
Can I use a sub-folder within the BIAB styles folder for my user styles, or do I they again just get dumped in with the BIAB styles? Or perhaps there is somewhere else for them to go.

Up to the 2017 (included) BIAB version, styles were set in the bb folder and you could create a 'Style' folder where you put your user styles. That what I did during many years. So, user styles were well separate and not mixed with PGM styles.
With the 2018 new folder organization, all the styles - PGM and user - are set in the 'Styles' folder. That is a pity because we can't easily isolate the user styles from the others. I consider that is a regression for the user. IMHO, it should have been better to natively create a User style folder with the 2018 folder organization because now it would cost more time/resources to create it afterwards.
So, I have added some months ago a post in the Wishlist forum to require a User Styles folder.

That's what I thought. Perhaps I was just hoping for a user-styles folder as well.

I wish they would still allow for a separate user files folder; actually, ideally it should be able to read any folder structure under the "Styles" folder. That way, you could have a subfolder for PGMusic style, one or more subfolders for Norton styles, a subfolder for styles downloaded from the internet, a subfolder for your own created files. Clearly they had code to manage it before (when styles could reside in both the main BIAB folder and the "styles" subfolder), so I wouldn't think this would be that hard to do.
Clearly, the new folder structure cleans up the main BIAB folder, but if all you've done is move 10,000 files to a single sub-folder, it is still difficult to manage.
And again, 8.3 style file names in 2018?!?
