Good guitar lick to base the song around. The lyrics are especially good. It is quite challenge to write a modern blues song with interesting lyrics. Well sung ,played and arranged, Tom Thanks Tom, Leon certainly has a knack for interesting. Peter

A great rolling blues with an inspired title - how many times have we all thought that?
Super backing track - loved the B3 and some excellent guitar work in there.

Does this song title have something to do with the Beatles' “Things We Said Today” ? (Just being alike?)

No need to apologize to EC - he’d likely smile.
This is definitely many cuts above the typical blues write. More literate but not too much so - just enough to keep the listener engaged with the cool lyric while your guitar certainly doesn’t let anybody wander when it takes over.
Fine vocal and guitar performances you two.
And kudos to Blues Man Leon!
