I probably need to put this in a suggestions thread. After playing with sheet music mode I have a few suggestions. Since there is so many possible tunings with lap steel, it would be nice to be able to have each string editable and then the software works off of the settings. example: regular guitar tuning, EADGBE,,,each string could be changed to my lap steel C#EGACE tuning, then the tab would respond to the notation.
IF that doesn't work then something as simple as when the sheet music tab view is engaged, have the ability to disconnect the tab from the music notation. And then a person would be able to just write in their tab as it pertains to each note. I would have nice looking sheet music with C6 tuning tab to work with. A little cumbersome but so is writing out tab and it would look much nicer. I know there is commercial software that does this but it's just another piece of software to learn, I would rather spend the time learning BIAB!
