If you click on the icon that I've labelled #1 on the image below, it will expand the mixer to show controls for the Thru channel. A second click on the icon will hide the Thru channel's controls.
Also, the Thru channel is MIDI channel 5 in BIAB.
Lastly, if you want to change the sound of the incoming keyboard adjust the sound on Thru.
