Cakewalk by Bandlab is indeed available and Sonar is no more. Cakewalk by Bandlab will install over your existing Sonar Platinum and keep all your settings etc. If you have plugins that work with the existing Sonar they should continue to work. If you did not have Sonar previously the new one does not come with all the plugins (e.g. Third party plugins such as Melodyne of Addictive Drums etc.). However it still looks pretty good. All my Pro Channel settings appear to be in place but I have yet to do more extensive testing.

Not that I want to start the 64bit discussion again Cakewalk for Bandlab is only available in 64bit if I understand correctly.

You register and download the Bandlab tool and it does the install.

Having said all that after the dumping by Gibson I spent time playing around with Reaper which handles some functions better than Sonar.
