I can move the focus to other apps but they BiaB stays on top of them so that I can't interact with them or see them. Even the help file ends up under it.
Hi. There was another thread about this a week or so ago, but I don't recall the solution.
Try Running BIAB As Administrator. Also, BIAB has what is called DAW Plugin Mode. If you go into this, BIAB is designed to shrink to a small window but stay on top. Make sure you aren't in DAW Plugin Mode.
Anybody remember that other thread, and the answer (assuming we found one)?
EDIT: OK, Noel found the thread, and build 512 addressed it.

In case it helps, DAW Plugin Mode is a convenience, not a necessity. You can resize the window and drag 'n drop to a DAW right from the regular BIAB window.

I think it would be more logical if DAW mode wasn't saved at shutdown, so next start it is not automatically in DAW mode. Most users would not require the program to always start in DAW mode.
Also, the DAW mode should be highlighted better in the display. It currently doesn't work as a 'exclusive or' with other buttons, but more as an 'and' function. I've been caught also.

PG Music has acknowledged that there could be a better visual indicator that you are in DAW Plugin Mode. Perhaps this thread will give that a nudge.

You can put this bmp in C:\bb\Data\Images\MainScreenButtons\PNL_TOOLS or whatever skin you are using in C:\bb\Data\CustomSkins\My Skin\PNL_TOOLS to see what skin you are using > Prefs > Display > Choose Skin Create a copy of the original first.
