Hola,
ich möchte gerne eine Melodie mittels Noten eingeben. Ich weis nur nicht wie? Habe kein Midi-Keyboard oder ähnliches. Möcht nur mit Maus oder Tastatur die Noten einzeln eingeben und dann die Akkorde dazu.
Freue mich auf baldige Antwort.

Dafür gibts zwei Möglichkeiten:
Im Notations-Fenster (Strg+W) können Sie dann in den änderbaren Notationsfenster wechseln und dort Noten einzeln mit der Maus, eingeben.
Lesen Sie dazu im Handbuch das Kapitel 7:
Hier ein Auszug:
Band-in-a-Box bietet mehre Modi der Notendarstellung für verschiedene Zwecke an.. Voreingestellt ist die Standard Notation, andere Modi können über die Buttons in der Toolbar angewählt werden.
Standard Notation, um Notendarstellung anzuzeigen oder auszudrucken. Klavierauszug und/oder Gitarrentabulatur mit Noten, Akkord Symbolen und Songtext.
Editierbare Notation, um Notendarstellung einzugeben oder zu bearbeiten. Eine pezielles "Notenblatt" mit zeitlichen Unterteilungen für mausgestützte Bearbeitung.
"Note Roll Mode", um Noten, Velocity und Notendauer einzugeben oder zu bearbeiten. Die Notenköpfe werden mit Hilfslinien zur Bearbeitung von Geschwindigkeit und Dauer angezeigt.
Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist das Aufnehmen mit der Tastatur als MIDI-Daten.
Im Kapitel 9 wird dies beschrieben.

Aufnehmen mit der Wizard Funktion
Das ist eine nützliche Funktion, wenn Sie über kein MIDI-Keyboard verfügen aber eine Aufnahme mit “Live-Feeling” machen wollen. Verwenden Sie den Wizard um Noten über die QWERTZ Tastatur in eine Spur aufzunehmen, die natürlicher klingt als mit der „Schritt für Schritt“ Methode. Und so funktioniert es:
1. Aktivieren Sie das Kontrollbox "Wizard".
2. Drücken Sie die Taste [R] zum Aufnehmen.
3. Wenn Sie den Song abspielen, nehmen Sie die Melodie mit irgendeiner Taste der zwei unteren Reihen der QWERTZ Tastatur im Rhythmus der Melodie auf. Die “Wizard” Noten werden natürlich nicht die richtige Melodie darstellen, das macht aber vorerst nichts. Wenn Sie fertig sind, schauen Sie in das Notationsfenster.
Sie werden falsche Noten am richtigen Platz mit der richten Länge sehen
4. Ziehen Sie die Noten (mit der linken Maustaste) auf den richtigen Platz im Notensystem. Während Sie ziehen, werden Sie die Noten hören und die Namen der Noten werden in der “Noten-Bezeichnungsbox“ angezeigt. Für Kreuz-Vorzeichen, b-Vorzeichen und normale Noten, halten Sie die Umschalttaste, die Strg-Taste oder die Alt-Taste gedrückt. Sie werden am Schluss eine Melodie haben, die klingt, als ob Sie live eingespielt worden wäre, ohne das starre Gefühl, das bei einer Schritt für Schritt Eingabe entsteht.
Tipp: Wenn der Wizard aktiviert ist, wird durch Drücken der Leertaste die Abspielung nicht gestoppt. In diesem Fall müssen Sie die Esc Taste drücken. Dies verhindert das Anhalten des Songs, wenn Sie unbeabsichtigt während der Eingabe mit dem Wizard die Leertaste drücken.

hallo,
dazu klickst du auf die einzelne note um das notenfenster zu öffnen.
dann sind neben drucken (in der braunen leiste) zwei rechteckige kästchen - auf das rechte klicken - jetzt kannst du mit der maus eingeben.
das programm erlaubt nur triolen - um das zu ändern links neben drucken auf optionen klicken und dann ganz oben links den haaken bei triolen wegmachen ... fertig.
wenn du mit allem fertig bist auf das linke kästchen und die melodie läßt sich nicht mehr editieren.
jetzt kannst du im im hauptfenster die akkorde c, g, f... als buchstaben eingeben.

Hallo,
auch ich möchte die Melodie Note für Note eingeben (BIAB-Version 2007.5 (239). Wenn ich im editierbaren Notationsfenster auf die Stelle klicke, wo die Note landen soll, werden erstens immer total seltsame Notenwerte eingegeben, z.B. eine punktierte Achtelnote mit Haltebogen zu einer Viertelnote. Dies ist offensichtlich eine Voreinstellung - lässt sich das ändern, und wenn ja wie? Die Triolen-Auflösung im Fenster "Einstellungen im Notations-Fenster" habe ich schon deaktiviert.
Wenn ich die so erstellte Note mit der rechten Maustaste anklicke, öffnet sich das Fenster Note, in dem ich Einstellungen für Kanal, Position, Note, Velocity und Länge vornehmen kann. Nicht ersichtlich ist mir, wie ich hier die Notenwerte einstellen kann, also z.B. eine (ggf. punktierte) Viertel-, Achtel- oder Sechzehntelnote eingeben kann. Ich vermute ja, dass ich dies unter Länge einstellen muss, die laut Handbuch in Schlägen und Ticks angegeben wird. Eine Achtelnote hätte doch demnach einen halben Schlag - der lässt sich aber nicht eingeben, jedenfalls nicht mit 0,5 oder 0.5. Außerdem bekomme ich sowohl mit der Einstellung 0:0 als auch mit der Einstellung 1:0 eine Viertelnote, so dass mir auch schleierhaft ist, welche Logik sich dahinter verbirgt. Weiß jemand hier, wie sich die genauen Notenwerte eingeben lassen?

Die Noteneingabe ist wesentliche effektiver als der Ansatz von Standard Notenprogrammen wie etwa Sibelius etc.: Bei einem Klick im editierbaren Notenfenster wird eine Note mit einer Default Länge erzeugt. Bei der Eingabe der nächsten Note wird dieser Notenwert dann in der Regel automatisch passend gekürzt. Es können damit Charts mit hoher Geschwindigkeit eingegeben werden, ohne ständig zwischen unterschiedlichen Notenlängen umschalten zu müssen. Wenn eine gekürzte Notenlänge einmal nicht passen sollte, kann die Länge komfortabel über den 'Notenwalzen' Modus des editierbaren Notenfensters eingestellt werden -> mit der rechten Maustaste die Strecke der Notenlänge einfach anpassen. Alternativ können auch exakte Werte im üblichen editierbaren Modus eingestellt werden.

Hallo,
aha, vielen Dank. Leider weiß ich nicht, welche exakten Werte im editierbaren Modus welchen Notenlängen entsprechen. Die Länge wird ja in Schlägen und Ticks angegeben, d.h. für eine ganze Note hätte ich 4 Schläge vermutet. 4 Schläge : 0 Ticks ergibt aber eine ganze Note mit Haltebogen zu einer weiteren Viertelnote. 1 Schlag : 0 Ticks ergibt eine halbe Note (bei einem anderen Versuch, s.o., hatte diese Eingabe zu einer Viertelnote geführt). Weiß vielleicht jemand, wie sich das Ganze errechnet und welche Werte ich eingeben muss, um meine eigentlich ganz einfachen Melodienoten einzugeben? Wirkt sich auch die Einstellung im Punkt "Position" auf die Notenlänge aus? Als Tempo für das fragliche Stück ist 120 eingegeben, falls das eine Rolle spielt. Über weiteres Feedback würde ich mich sehr freuen.

4 Schläge, 0 Ticks erzeugen eine perfekte ganze Note hier in einem 4/4 Takt (120 Ticks sind ein Schlag). Die Notenlängen lassen sich auch direkt grafisch über den Walzenmodus ablesen.
Die Notendarstellung kann auch durch den 'Tick Offset' in den Notations-Optionen sowie durch eine Aktivierung/Deaktivierung der Checkbox 'Clean' im Notationsfenster beeinflusst werden .
Am besten einmal mit den Einstellungen herumspielen - das vermittelt wie üblich am ehesten Sicherheit.

Hallo,
vielen Dank für die Antwort - jetzt scheint es tatsächlich zu klappen mit der Noteneingabe. Das Problem war glaube ich vor allem, dass die Darstellungen in editierbarer und nicht editierbarer Ansicht unterschiedlich waren. So wurde mir eine in der nicht editierbaren Ansicht korrekt dargestellte Viertelnote in der editierbaren Ansicht als halbe Note dargestellt. Das war dann aber nicht mehr der Fall, nachdem ich im Fenster "Einstellungen im Notations-Fenster" die Checkbox Triolen-Auflösung deaktiviert habe. Soweit ich das jetzt beim Herumexperimentieren beurteilen konnte, schienen sich die anderen Einstellungen nicht auf die Notendarstellung auszuwirken; zumindest nicht bei den einfachen Beispielen, die ich jetzt ausprobiert habe.
