Ciao a tutti, sono Daniele e sono nuovo di questo forum..
sto iniziando ad utilizzare questo programma che, devo dire, mi sorprende non poco.
Non riesco però ad esportare in mp3 o wav o, cmq, qualsiasi altro formato che non sia midi.
In realtà esportando wav mi si apre il microfono...
qualcuno sa dirmi come posso fare?

Ciao Daniele e Benvenuto tra noi,
provo ad aiutarti io anche se non sono un gran utilizzatore di questa funzione, preferisco arrivare al file audio da un software esterno.
Prima di tutto per evitare malintesi dovresti specificare piattaforma e versione del software che utilizzi, quindi prova a elencare i menu che scorri per arrivare al punto cui ti riferisci.
Attento ai termini, cerca di essere preciso, il software chiama conversione il salvataggio del lavoro in file audio esterno, l'esportazione è un'altra cosa. Sinceramente non riesco ad immaginare quale operazione possa far apparire un microfono.
Per esempio con la versione italiana 2009.5 per Windows nel Menu Audio si clicca su
Converti MIDI in File Stereo .WAV ecc... si apre così una finestra titolata Converti a File Audio dove si possono effettuare una serie di scelte.
Lo stesso risultato si ottiene più velocemente cliccando sul pulsante a icona .WAV vicino a PLAY

Grazie Sergio  io uso biab 2008 e, vicino al pulsante Play, c'è l'icona del dischetto per il salvataggio con scritto Midi e un'altra con scritto Wav. Cliccando sulla prima mi permette effettivamente di esportare midi. Con la seconda mi si apre una finestra in cui parla di decompressione, microfono, ecc.. tuttavia quali possono essere software esterni buoni per quest'operazione (e i risultati sono accettabili)?

Quella che indichi è l'icona giusta, per quanto riguarda la versione del software la tua 2008 è praticamente quasi uguale all'ultima, almeno per quanto riguarda la conversione in audio. Non ho a portata di mano una versione 2008 ma guarda queste 2 immagini: Converti a File Audio - versione 2007 Converti a File Audio - versione 2009.5come puoi notare menu e pulsanti delle finestre sono praticamente uguali, la prima è ricavata con una versione 2007, la seconda con la versione 2009.5 (la tua versione quindi dovrebbe essere identica). Sono le finestre alle quali si accede cliccando sull'icona WAV. Dovrebbero apparire all'incirca così come le vedi se nella finestra di configurazione dei driver midi non è stata spuntata la casellina Usa DXi Sint, ( vedi immagine) nel caso questa casellina sia stata spuntata (nella fase conclusiva dell'istallazione del software o in un altro momento) la finestra potrebbe apparire simile a quest'altra: Converti a File Audio con DXi Sint selezionatiNelle immagini ho evidenziato in rosso le impostazioni sulle quali ritengo utile concentrare la propria attenzione, ad esempio spuntare la casellina Un file WAV per traccia può essere utile se si lavora con Real Tracks e si desidera però lavorarci sopra ulteriormente in un software esterno. In linea di principio BiaB è in grado di condurti fino alla creazione del file Audio finale, stereo e di ottima qualità, pronto per il CD. Software esterni sui quali portare le creazioni di BiaB ve ne sono parecchi, consigliabile potrebbe essere RealBand, ma ci sono anche Power Tracks, Cakewalk Sonar e Cubase. Quest'ultimi due ovviamente a prezzi ben più alti. Valutare se i risultati ottenibili con un software o l'altro sono validi o no è cosa non semplice, penso che i gusti musicali e gli obiettivi che ognuno di noi si prefigge abbiano un peso notevole in questo tipo di valutazioni, a danno di una seria obiettività. Se non l'hai già fatto potresti ascoltare un po' di brani prodotti da utilizzatori di BiaB, io utilizzo Cakewalk Sonar per ricavare file audio, e puoi ascoltare i miei lavori nel sito linkato alla mia firma, ma ti consiglio anche l'ascolto di quanto prodotto da questi 2 nostri amici: Eze's Band Romyse ho inteso bene loro non usano altri software multitraccia esterni ma solo i mezzi messi a disposizione da Band-in-a-Box. Credo proprio che i risultati siano notevoli, a dir poco! Spero d'esser stato utile, ciao Sergio

Daniele, in aggiunta all'eccelente disanima del problema da parte di Sergio, posso solo aggiungere che l'impossibilità di esportare in wav in genere può derivare da due problemi: - il mancato uso di un DX synth per le tracce MIDI (Roland Sound Canvas, Forte, HiperCanvas, Hypersonic, Vi One, ecc) in effetti complica alquanto le cose. Se infatti usi un modulo sonoro esterno, o anche (orrore) il modulo sonoro di Windows dovresti prendere il segnale audio dall'uscita audio (della scheda sonora del PC o dal generatore di suoni esterno) e collegarla all'audio in del PC - (sempre se NON usi DX synth per le tracce MIDI): una errata impostazione delle caratteristiche di registrazione audio del tuo PC. Nel caso in cui fai uso esclusivamente di realtracks, problemi non dovresti avere in nessun caso. Visto che il clima è natalizio, ti invito a dare un'occhiata a questo mio Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhEx7qeK7d0...in cui, chitarre a parte (suonate da me), la base l'ho realizzata esclusivamente con le realtracks di BIAB 2009 (ovviamente modificate con programmi di audio editing, Adobe Audition 3 e T-Racks 24) Ciao
