I absolutely love the program but there is one thing that drives me nuts!
I use BIAB in a praise & worship setting with a "full band/orchestra" sound. I commonly begin slow songs with piano only and as the song progresses, I add bass, drums, strings, and horns (I play guitar myself). And the RealTrack piano part that usually works best is "1602: Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm Pop16 Ev16 65."
But - this piano part occasionally plays a dominant seventh note when the chord is a straight major chord, and this seventh note sticks out like a sore thumb, totally out of place. If it only happened right before a "IV chord" (F in the key of C), that would be okay, but it happens randomly and sometimes it's just awful.
I wish that either:
- The part could be re-recorded without the seventh notes (unless the chord is a seventh chord), or
- A new similar part could be added without the seventh note A new similar part could be added without the seventh note

The issue is likely an issue with the RealTracks support files. If so PG Music likely can fix the issue once the issue is identified.
You can help PG Music by helping them to find the issue. When you hear the unwanted 7th chord, freeze all the tracks and save the SGU/MGU file. Email the song file along with a description of the issue (bar 16, chord 3 is a "F" but the piano plays "F7" for example) to: support@pgmusic.com.
Frozen tracks do not regenerate so PG Music Support will hear the same thing you heard. Your description will guide them to the exact bar where the error happens. Then they can look at what the RealTracks support files told the program to do. Finally they can change the support file to have the program select an alternate "F" chord that is more appropriate.

I'm not sure this is an error as such, or at least not a technical one. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually designed this particular instrument to favour dom7th like that for this particular style (where dom7th are quite common).
But since you prefer absolute interpretations, then you should start by turning "Chord Embellishment" OFF while you're generating the song! Then freeze just the piano if you like to still have embellishment on for the rest of the instruments, and generate the rest.
And if that still doesn't suffice, then also set the piano track to Simple, which should absolutely clinch it.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

I support Jim's advice.
While Icelander has a point, it could also be that the chord is mapped incorrectly. Once BIAB know about it and have an example to work with, they can assess it and take action if needed.
