I'm going to need to redo my post. After looking at those devices, I thought they were all compressed audio, but those are recording at 16 or 24 bit, 44.1kHz! So, on a one gig card, at 16/44.1, you should get 90 minutes of two track recording. That isn't too bad.

And, moving up to the $400-$600 range offers some nice options.

Something like this will give you four simultaneous tracks, and will store on an internal 40GB hard drive.

Go to $700, and get 8 recording tracks. That's pretty impressive.
