That functionality (importing lyrics when reading in a MIDI file) is currently not present on the Mac version. It was scheduled for this release, but didn't quite make it. It is expected to be added in the first (free) 2018 patch, expected to be released in a week or so. Any timeframe on the Piano Roll (you mentioned in an earlier post)? Also any progress on the the Edit Lyrics (Dialogue Box) which only function is that it deletes anything you try to edit.
