Notation displayed for all instruments is everything from intro to ending.

As not all instruments might need to be heard all of the time however, I sometimes need sheet music reflecting that.

For example I might have two guitars come in and out at different places, sometimes solo, sometimes counterpoint ..

.. or I might *build* a string quartet and have Cello, Viola and Violins come and go selectively/individually at times for musical color.

Instruments are of course routinely rested anyway for a number of bars.

I bring instruments in and out via the Bar Settings menu, Muting and Back-to-Normaling them where appropriate and then the audio plays the Parts as designated.

The Notation however isn't blanked-out for the muted/unplayed sections, and whilst notes can be deleted manually I wonder if there is an option NOT to notate for unplayed sections? It would seem to be such a standard thing to do, and eliminate the manual task and also any unnoticed slips that might creep in.

I have looked at related settings for a "don't show muted bars" box for example, but haven't found a feature that does that.

Can those familiar with BIAB's Notation facility and use it to produce Parts let me know if there is a way to do that other than manually editing them out note by note?

Seems it could be a wishlist item if not, though probably less straightforward to achieve than the simple "ignore muted sections" instruction initially makes it appear.

Thanks!
