Good song Dave.
I agree with the comments about getting a tad busy at times, so that the vocal gets lost. The vocals need to come up just a bit and anything that is competing with vocals in this genre (or any genre, come to think of it) has to go.
Cool song though!!!
I agree. That background violin distracts from your vocal IMHO. This song has a ton of potential and with a little more polish it should sound great. YMMV
