Just thought I would throw this out there. I've recently discovered a youtube video series with the name Song around the world. It begins with a single performer singing a common, and I assume an agreed upon tune, and as the tune progresses, other performers from all around the globe join in. Basically, like a global jam session. We are a loosely joined group of Pro and not so Pro musicians, held together by our mutual love and use of BIAB. I know from experience that there are those that tend to try to denigrate this as somehow cheating or even claiming that we are not real musicians. I wonder if it might be possible to produce a video similar to this. I know that the levels of talent that I have seen just so far, would more than bear this out, and lay to rest for once and for all any doubt of the truth of the matter. Again, just throwing it out there.

That sounds like a really cool find, and I think that it would be neat to see something similar down with forum users if they were willing. If you guys ever do that, I'll certainly watch!

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
