RealPaks are collections of RealDrums and/or RealTracks, as you said. But with the release of BIAB2010, there are new RealTracks and RealDrums available So it's a matter of which new ones you want. Of course, you'll want to upgrade to BB2010, if for anything else, just the speed at which it now creates a RealTracks arrangement.
You can see on the PGMusic web site which RealTracks sets and which RealDrums sets come with each RealPak. Compare that to what you have to determine what you need.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
