I recently purchased B-in-a-B for Windows version 2008.5 and it's nothing short of a revelation after my version # 5 for Atari, purchased many years ago. Version 5 has served me very well however and was a fantastic program when I first got it. Version 2008.5 is also an amazing program. My only disappointment is the notation feature. I find the editable, manual entry method to be frustrating and very slow. In fact, it irritates me so much that I've stopped using it!

I realise that this entry system was designed for use by persons with little or no notational ability, but it would be really great if a "Finale" or "Sibelius" type option could be incorporated in the program for those with notational ability and/or experience with either of these two programs. At the very least, it would be helpful if some of the editable entry features could be turned off and note and rest options were incorporated. (I've used "Finale" for about eight years and I suspect I've been spoilt!)

I would be interested to hear what other users think.
