.... I figured out that the noise was caused by my practice of doing a "Hold" chord at the end of a song .... The Eureka .... it solved my situation too, but i hope they can fix it; i usually try to avoid the 2 bar ending, you'll never know when the horse stops running, and how ... most cases you fall out of the saddle at some weird point with one foot still in the stirrup .. hold ending most cases solves this with some nice open sustaining chord usually instead of some unpredictable 'Bang a Gong' for a few bars at the end instead; especially as i mostly work with 'one big chorus'. F

F Yes I prefer the neat ending of a hold chord, to the 2 bar ending lottery. I can avoid the noise by dragging individual tracks instead of the master, but this involves greater accuracy on my part to ensure all tracks are in sync. It would be neat if they can fix this bug, BIAB is very useful for making backing tracks and as we all know, songs that start and end on time are essential to a professional performance.

Funny, I saw Bang a Gong and thought it was about T Rex. It was on my mind because it showed up on a setlist last week.

Yes I was most likely subliminally inspired by T Rex when trying to express what I heard at the start of the track.
