Actually, there are 48 tracks total, and they're not audio tracks per se. They are just tracks available to be used as audio (or MIDI) tracks. You don't turn them off or make them go away. You just select the track your want to use.

A lot of other DAW's give you a blank slate to start with, and you have to add new tracks before you can use them.

RealBand just had all 48 available to you from the get-go.
