This is unfortunately a long time limitation.

If you need a mix of 3/4 and 4/4, you must choose a 4/4 style, and then use bar settings at the start to set it to 3/4, then you can change to 4/4 when you need.

Note, however, despite the song starting in 3/4 time, you're going to get a 4-beat count-in.



I'm not sure that is still true. I just set the time signature to 3/4, sorted the styles by 3/4 and I got a 3/4 count-in on both of the styles that I choose. Maybe someone could verify this.

The difference I think here is that you chose multiple styles. The downfall is that this often sounds like you change bands half-way through the song (the drum kit is different, the instruments are different etc).

To have consistency in delivery, I need to use the same Style, but play 3/4 then 4/4 by just changing the number of beats in the bar.

I can get some sort of success by changing styles, but the audible result is generally not acceptable. The contrast is that it sounds like a different band is suddenly playing.
