Then we are hearing the same thing.
To my knowledge, there are no synthesized Real or Audiophile tracks (are there?). That is not a statement regarding the quality of said tracks, however.

The thing that is making them sound artificial is undoubtedly in the cases where something is being pitch modified by BBox to best match the given chord. The program does this with all the audio instruments, but human voices are a special breed, if you like, to the human brain, much like the human face - It takes so little to make something feel 'off', you know.

There are a few synth RealTracks, but they're all labelled as such. The vocal RealTracks are human voices.
Though the attack on some of the notes can be a bit awkward, I'm not hearing the buzz or harshness. If you are, EQing out some of the high-mid frequencies may help fit them in your mix.
You'll also want to make sure you're using them at close to their original tempo, speeding them up or slowing them down too much may be affecting the sound quality.

Exactly, the "uncanny valley" effect that makes CG humans creepy will also affect sampled voices.

That is good advice and information that i will make use of in working with the voices in Mac Band.
Now the _LALAOOH Demo - La La Ooh Vocal Aahs and Oohs that I chose to try is a PG created demo and I played it as is and so perhaps that was a poorly created demo.
