A really nice bossa nova!
I remembered Edie Gorme.
So nice to hear Di singing.
The amount of reverb applied to vocal is reminiscent of the 60's.
Very good backing track. It just fits the vocal.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Cheese is yummy! I'm literally finishing a cheese sandwich as I write this, but that's not what I'm referring to.  I especially enjoyed the vocal. It's nice to hear the flute get some love in the arrangement. Hi dany, Thanks so much. And yes ... cheeses **IS** yummy! It's particularly good on, well ...almost anything! Glad you liked it. I'll pass on your greeting to Di and tell her about your nice words regarding her vocal. She's in bed most of the time other than when she has to go to the hospital, everyday, for an infusion. She'll appreciate your kindness as much as I do. And yeah, flutes get a bad rap. Certain elements of Jazz and Latin music would be much less colorful without them - classical music, too. Sounds great. Love the vocal and the new mix sounds so good on our monitors.

J&B Thanks so much, you two! Yeah, Di really nailed that vocal! But, that's pretty much normal for her. She misses not being able to sing. She goes to the hospital every day for an infusion of some really strong medicine and then spends 90% of her remaining time in bed. I'm glad I found this old vocal track so I could work a new arrangement around it with the BIAB Real Tracks. Glad you enjoyed it! Again, many thanks. Alan

Shigeki Adachi Hi Shigeki, We're delighted you liked the song! I wondered who would be the first to notice the extra reverb on her voice. It was pretty common back then. I like some reverb as it makes a vocal sound fuller and warmer. But too much muddles it. I think we stopped short of muddling it! Thanks for all the very nice comments. Wishing to the best, Alan

Great sounding tune—Di does a terrific job on the vocals. All in all, you capture the Bossa Nova style perfectly. Oh, and that flute—it kills! Well done!
