That was REALLY interesting to watch and listen to. Thanks for posting it. I've never heard of this before but, like so many things, once it's pointed out, it becomes obvious (although it's anything except obvious until it's mentioned!).

Interestingly, the above sits perfectly against the eighth-note rhumba rhythm of 3+3+2 (i.e. 3 eighth notes + 3 eighth notes + 2 eighth notes).

If anyone finds this useful, below is a summary of the 4/4 pattern that's discussed using notation.
