A cool,spacey journey...and the understated but catchy chorus melody had me singing along.
The lyrics are very accessible with details that bring the road trip to life.

Hi Bob,
I really like this! The music and the lyric takes me on the journey with you. Love the lush pedal steel and the percussions. This song has a heartbeat of its own. It's fully alive but in an understated way. It speaks to the listener as the he'she is willfully carried away. Great backing tracks and your vocal is perfect for this. Thanks for a really terrific listen. This was a real treat! WOW!

As others have alerady said, a nicely understated journey song. I enjoyed going along for the ride. You've got a nice conversational tone, with lines like:
Pull the car to the far right/Let it pass us by
nicely emoted. The line:
California/goner
is "near rhyme" excellence!

Oooh - the California beach vibes are strong with this one! I was down there recently, and this tune definitely evokes imagery of the seemingly endless beaches they have down there. The lyrics are poetic too, and I love the dreamy backing tracks you paired with them. Thanks for the throwback - thanks for sharing

Hi rsdean, I really enjoyed the overall tone of this. Fantastic choice of instrumentation. I found this very easy to listen to. Great use of the pedal steel guitar. Nice subtle use of effects on the vocals. Thanks for sharing!
