Last month I presented Band-In-A-Box to thirty workshop attendees in a session called Alternatives for Worship with Zero Musicians. You can check the workshop description out at http://www.potomacag.org/eq_alternativeworship.asp, at least as long as the page will be maintained.

This workshop is part of a tri-state Equipping Conference for church leaders in the Washington, DC area. I had participants from as far away as the Morgantown, West Virginia area.

I demonstrated the full flexibility of BIAB to support worship in churches in ways that other methods such as CD/DVD tools cannot. I showed how simple it is to transform a leadsheet downloaded from CCLI's SongSelect database into a good sounding song for worship use. I then handed out copies of PG Music's latest newsletter, along with another document that described system requirements, sound card advice, etc.

The response was outstanding. I had several individuals commit to purchasing BIAB for use in their churches.

PG Music has shown interest in the past at targeting small church and new church plants as part of their marketing strategy. I still feel that this is one area that shows great potential.
