Whoa, I just found my problem... when I clicked "Render to WAV", the Recording Control dialogue box opened. I had 2 choices, 1) Stereo Mix, or 2) Microphone. The second choice's check box, Microphone, was checked by default. When I instead selected Stereo Mix, and re-Rendered, it produced a quiet WAV file. Thanks for the quick reply.....Bill
