Okay. Here are a few songs that have gone to final selection on Songtradr and a short description of how I made each (if I can remember correctly)
1.
http://www.songtradr.com/songs/joanne-cooper/nkosi-sikelelafricaThis is in final selection for a "Flag Day" opportunity. I used a midi file of our National Anthem and then I edited it and used RealBand and Dimension Pro to assign Marimba's to the midi.
2.
http://www.songtradr.com/songs/joanne-cooper/clair-de-lune-from-suite-bergamasque-l.-75-3rd-movement-by-claude-debussyThis is in final selection for a classical music for a fancy restaurant. Again, I used a midi file, edited it and used RealBand and Dimension pro. I then used a "gentle tube" preset on Ozone for the final master.
3.
http://www.songtradr.com/songs/joanne-cooper/string-quartet-1This one reached final selection for a string quartet opp. For this I used Band-in-a-Box realtracks and probably some "gentle tube" preset on Ozone for the final master.
4.
http://www.songtradr.com/songs/joanne-cooper/harp-1This went to final selection for a harp opp. I think I just used the Band-in-a-Box harp realtrack. I don't remember what preset I would have used for final mastering.
I hope this helps demonstrate just HOW great Band-in-a-Box is..
