One of my quirks (from likely a plethora of them) is I don't use odd numbered bpm tempos when I'm recording an original song....it has to be an even bpm number.

That's interesting. Somehow, it doesn't surprise me. On certain programs I use I tend to have to have things exactly the same. If I have two tracks that are supposed to be the same. I can't have one at 87 and the other at 88...even though I can't tell the difference; aside from the darn number. So I understand.
