I'm not quite sure what you mean about entering chords and getting BIAB to play C4 instead of C3.

Do you mean that after you've entered the chords and generate the song, you want BIAB to play a particular octave of C (i.e. C4)?

Or are you meaning that when you use the keyboard to enter the chord sound that you are hearing input is in the wrong octave?

If it's the latter, don't worry about it. Whatever the sound of the chord that is entered, this is only a stepping stone to getting the chord entered. When you generate the song, BIAB automatically chooses which chords and bass to use.
