Please could we have the facility to increase the number of bars across the screen, from 4 to say 8, to accommodate wide screen monitors ( I am now up to 21 inch!)?

Hi Gibson. You've been around awhile so you probably know this, but your request has been on the Wishlist frequently, especially of late with all these wide monitors. I have a 22" now, and you are right.

Yes, I've been pushing for this one for a long time also, and got an acknowledgement from Peter Gannon last week that it's a good idea. That said, it's probably one of those things that looks simple but in coding terms is far from it, otherwise I do believe it would be fixed right away. As it is I expect the 2009 version will include it. It would be even more useful to me now that I've just acquired a 27".   John

Oh, great. One-up us, why don't you, John? Monitor wars! Well, I have dual 98" plasma LCD LED monitors ... and that's just for my laptop; you should see my studio; they're even bigger.
Just kidding - that must be amazing to work with. But I'll bet you spend a lot of time watching the barline indicator go wide left and right in BIAB, like watching a tennis match from a seat at mid court... That's good news from PG Music this modification is being considered.

IMHO, more vertical lines would be more natural and useful. Printed score sheets dimension is normally portrait, and landscape dimension is more suited for TV/movies.
