if you're refereeing to the Song Form Maker which in its current implementation presumes the chords have been entered

my issue is i never learned to count so when i play it's by feel therefore i am not aware of what measure the chord changes i'm making occur

the same would be true for a tab from ultimate guitar with that i have the chord progression but no idea as to what cells in the grid they should be entered even though i may have selected a style based on that song

my workaround at present is to record my playing in realband and let the auto chord wizard create a tempo map and determine the chords

if i want melodies i create notated i use melodyne

just so there is no misunderstanding i recognize that this would be a nonissue if i would just learn to count i have tried but it hasn't happened yet
