Soundtrek is down. 99% of my demos are all mp3 files now, so they should work. All the files on the demo page and individual style disks are mp3 now, a couple of the intro/ending MIDI disks are the only ones left to convert.

I've updated numerous fake disks but not the style disks.

I've often thought about updating the styles taking advantage of the improvements made to Band-in-a-Box and the StyleMaker, but the massive amounts of time wouldn't be cost effective. I sometimes spend 50-100 hours on a style, tweaking it to get the most out of various of test chord progressions to make sure the styles will work in the most varied situations. They have my name on them, so they have to be as good as I can make them.

So instead of spending hundreds of hours redoing old styles to get perhaps 2% better results, I'll spend that time making new styles.

BTW, I've received a few nice compliments about the Samba styles from people living in Brazil. There are a lot of Brazilian people living in South Florida and I learned from a few of the musicians. The problem is adapting the knowledge to overcome the limitations of Band-in-the-Box, which although it is the best auto-accompaniment app out there by far, still has it's brick walls. For example, not real time signatures, so I might have two 2/4 or 2/2 bars of music in one 4/4 cell of BiaB. The audio results are the same, but the notation doesn't look right.
