I agree with these sentiments.

As stated, try selected a DI (Direct Input) version of the track first. This has no effects.

Then, if you have BIAB realize you have a free version of Amplitube 3.

Use it on the tracks in Real Band (or your Daw) and select one of the jazz presets as a starting point, but fool around with different amps and effects of your own. See screenshot.

To load Amplitube for the first time in Real Band you have to go to the little VST triangle drop down and add it as a VST. It should be in your Steinberg>VST plugins folder in programsx86 in windows. Choose Amplitube3.dll

Finally, as Kent said, get a good EQ and spend some time just fiddling with the knobs and making your own presets.

You will be making gorgeous tones in no time.
