The MegaPak doesn't change much from year to year. It's really designed to give you basic RealTracks capabilities above the ProPak. The ProPak gives you around 300 RealTracks, and the MegaPak gives you 500 RealTracks.

If you currently had the 2016 UltraPak (which you don't), you could upgrade to the 2018 UltraPak and get 400 more RealTracks for less than the MegaPak to MegaPak upgrade price, which would bring you up to over 2500 RealTracks.

Why not consider upgrading to the UltraPak and get over 2500 RealTracks (plus all the MIDI styles and the MIDI SuperTracks). That gives you freedom to do a whole lot more. Then when 2019 comes out later this year (presumably), you could upgrade to the new UltraPak and probably get another 200 RealTracks (if you upgrade using the DVD upgrade option, it generally costs around $99 during the sale time).

Remember, the basic program is the same regardless of which Pak you get.

Just a few things to think about.
