First, I'd check the Programs and Features list in the Control Panel, and see if Amplitube is installed. If it isn't, you should be able to find its installer in the PG Music\Installers folder on your 2016 hard drive.
Once it's installed, go back to the DirectX/VST window, select "Add VST Plugin" in one of the drop-down menus, and select AmpliTube 3.dll in your VST Plugins folder. On my computer, it was in C:\Program Files (x86)\VST Plugins.
Once this is done, Amplitube should appear in the list of plugins.
