Hi all - newish user to BIAB. Very cool software!
I purchased what i believe is everything. The what I am missing section helps says I have everything, but i am missing 88 styles when showing N/A in the style picker. Strangely the preview for these missing styles play.
I have contacted support, but I thought it might worth a message in the forum in case anyone recognizes some of these styles:
25 amplitube style (2011/12). 8 Folk styles named Campfire (2012/12), 3 Nashville Teen beat (2012/05 and 2012/06), 3 Fast Drivin (2012/04, 2012/05, 2012/06)., 5 metronome styles (2014/07). There are a few more, but I thought finding these might be a start in the right direction.
What I have done so far is: complete rebuilt the database. Then I reinstalled everything using the master installer, rebuilt the database again and I ran the cleanup routine.

Hi Greg,
Welcome to the forum and to Band-in-a-Box!
When you state you purchased everything, does that include the Xtra Style PAKs? If you recently purchased Band-in-a-Box then you maybe missing some bonus RealTracks and the styles support the bonus RealTracks.
It will be helpful if you list the names of the missing styles. That will help us associate the styles with various updates, packages and bonus releases.

Thanks so much for the reply. I have bought all the xtra style paks. Here are images of what is missing. Before rebuilidng and reinstalling, I had no real tracks missing. Now I have a couple. Hi Greg,
Some of these are from the Registration Bonus Styles, which you can download for free from your account on our website. Just log in, click on My Products, and look for the installer in your list of downloads.
Some of these styles appear to be missing RealTracks. Please open the RealTracks Picker, check the "Show RealTracks that are NA" checkbox, sort the list by the NA column, and see which sets the NA RealTracks are from.

Thanks so much. Found the registration bonus styles and am down to 78 styles not found.
I tried reinstalling the realtracks from what sets are shown 2 are from MST18 and 2 from MST20. And 1 is from the Xtra pak.
I reinstalled the real track sets 16-19 and 20-23, and xtra pak 5 but they are still missing after the rebuild.
Missing RT are M_JZFPLK, M_POPFLT, M_STQRTP, M_STQRTZ, and Humbling.
For the missing RT - the wma files are in the data folder for the preview, but the don't seem to be there.

I am noticing in the RTs that are N/A - I can load them and it seems like the synth is what is missing in them. The message in the bottom says C:\bb\Soloists\RSynth014.ST2 not found. This means that you do not have the MIDI SUperTracks that is required for this style or solo.
FYI I have supertracks001-020 installed.
When I look in the bb\soloists folder I am indeed missing Rsynth014.ST2 but have 001-013 and 015-016 in that folder.
I don't see any other supertracks installer in my account.

It looks like all of these styles (except for the last two) were from 2014 or earlier, so would have been included with your 2016 EverythingPAK. I'll see if I can find installers that'll just install this missing stuff tomorrow though, so you don't have to install 2016, 2017, and 2018 again.

PG Music Thanks! Do you think you will be able to find the individual files? I installed all the real tracks I had again in the process, so if you have individual files that might be helpful. Also if you have the handful of RTs are missing? M_JZFPLK, M_POPFLT, M_STQRTP, M_STQRTZ, and Humbling. ALso C:\bb\Soloists\RSynth014.ST2 is not found. Can I get that file? Thanks! Greg

Hi Greg,
M_JZFPLK, M_POPFLT, M_STQRTP, M_STQRTZ, and Humbling are styles, not RealTracks. RSynth014.ST2 does refer to a RealTrack though. If you want to see which RealTracks you're missing, open the RealTracks Picker, check "Show RealTracks that are N/A", and sort the list by the N/A column.
I have a feeling the missing RealTracks are all from your 2016 version as well.

Thanks kent. The ones listed are the ones that are missing when showing Real Tracks that are NA.
Humbling is from Xtra Pak 5, but I have reinstalled, uninstalled, rebuilt the DB and it is showing up as missing. I think some are showing as missing because of a missing real track in the style.
Two are missing the synth file, two are missing a string quarter file I believe.
Before I started all of the reinstalling, rebuilding, etc. I originally had no Real Tracks missing, but then those 5 popped up.

Hi Greg,
Those files you listed couldn't possibly be showing up in the RealTracks Picker, as they're not RealTracks. They're styles, so would only be listed in the StylePicker, completely different window.
You'll need to click the RealTracks button, then RealTracks Picker Dialog, to get to the window I'm referring to.

Hi Musicman,
I just downloaded and ran the main installer for Band-in-a-Box 2016, and got all of those styles immediately. Here's what I'd recommend, to avoid having to reinstall 2017 and 2018: Download and run the installer called "Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 2016 Full (Windows)" from your list of downloads, and install it to a new folder, like C:\BB2016. Don't install it to where 2018 is currently installed.
Then copy the STY files from the C:\BB2016 folder to the C:\BB\Styles folder, and that should fill in everything you're missing.
It sounds like you're missing some MIDI SuperTracks as well, so download and run "MIDI SuperTracks Sets 001-020 (Windows)" as well, while you're at it.
If the 2016 links on your online account have expired, let me know and I'll refresh them.

Thanks so much for the info. Installed the 2016 installer and got almost all of the styles found! I am down to 2 styles not found.

I ran all 5the xtra paks plus the MIDI super tracks into the bb2016 folder. The 2016 install seems to put the styles into the root of the bb2016 folder, whereas the 2018 folder has the styles in a styles folder.
I don't see these two styles though after running the 5 Xtra pak installers.

PG Music Hi Kent, Yes I installed the Xtra Styles and the MIDI supertracks in the 2018 folder. Those two styles are still missing. I am more curious how/why this acting as such so I better understand the program.

I would also run the cleanup utility, then do full rebuilds after doing the installs to make sure they end up in the correct folder (which changed with BIAB 2018). Just a thought.

I think everything's in the right place. I moved those two styles out of my Styles folder and reinstalled Xtra Styles PAK 5 and they didn't reappear, so I'll need to figure out which installer has them.
I've emailed Musicman the style files, so the installation should be complete for now.
