I've admittedly never watched a single game of baseball in my life and had no idea who Vera was - but from some of the comments above he was a commendable player  Great tune none the less! Love the groove, and some very inventive and creative lyrics to match. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

I like biographical songs - there are some I enjoyed for years before understanding anything about the person written about.
I liked the sentiments expressed here, especially in the chorus... cool arrangement too.

Not a big baseball fan (although I root for the SF giants when they make the playoffs) so the lyrics are not well understood by me. BUT the music is very nice!! Pretty melody and nice arrangement! Take care. Greg
