Bob,

I simply love this. The lyrics are fantastic, so cinematic--amazing imagery.

The mix is great too, very warm, one of your absolute best.

Super.

Really nice work here Bob smile The backing tracks are superb, and I thought your vocals sounded perfect. The tune has an almost haunting quality to it. I loved the lyrics as well. Very cinematic, and very emotive.

Great job on this, and thanks for sharing!

Cheers,
Deryk

You have an understated way of singing. I think I've told you before, but you remind me of Tom Waites.

Falling Horses.... been on 2 that fell.... not fun. Fortunately I wasn't hurt too badly either time.

"But over and over in the meadows of gold
He runs on for days where the grasses still blow
And every now and then he shakes off the rain
With a swing of the mane"

It just get more visual than that. Wow!

We enjoyed learning how you recorded the guitar and vocals...that's very nuanced and, man, did it ever work.

Not much more to add...this is an outstanding production and we much enjoyed it.

Hello, Bob

Very simple but very beautiful!
I agree with Janne.
Very nice folk song, the chorus melody is especially beautiful.
Your vocal just fits this,
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Bob, I like everything about this. As always, your lyrics shine. Once again you challenge and inspire me to write better. Love the guitar.

Hi Bob,

What a terrific song - perfect in all ways. I really enjoy abstract lyrics as they allow the listener to paint his own image and he then takes some personal possession of the song. You achieved that so very nicely.

Your mix and instrument choices couldn't be better. Kudos, my friend. this is wonderful!

Alan
